Diamondback DB380: A good pocket rocket 1/4

The DB380 is new entry into the micro-compact pistol market from Diamondback firearms (http://www.diamondbackfirearms.com). The .380 has gained immense popularity with new concealed carry permit holders, and shooters with small hands like women.

I my opinion, the DB380's design is based off the Glock design. The DB380 looks and functions like a Glock. It has all the makings of a highly reliable and successful pocket rocket.

I've not had any problems with mine after completing the procedures from another vid on here called ( Diamondback DB380 Tips ) his tips were spot on! on this video, the check rings your referring to are I believe called serrations. And the round indicator is on the other side of the weapon. It's sort of a window behind the barrel and in front of the extractor. Other than that good video.

Based on personal experience, I would not trust that "weapon." Mine was basically a single shot because I had to clear a malfunction on 3 out of 6 rounds per magazine. Sent it back on my own dime and received a new one after 3 weeks. Guess what, same problems. I predict Diamondback will not be manufacturing firearms in a few years unless they work out their bugs. It looks like a Glock but it doesn't run like a Glock.

Get the clip with the finger rest, it makes a world of difference in the feel and ease of holding onto...

But... you're right, It's not "unheard of" in the .380 world.

@gaussbay While the Sig P238 is very nice, especially after fixing it's bugs for the first year of production. It still cost about twice what a DB380 does. So, I'd expect nice sights from a sig that of course cost more.

the adjustable sights arent completly unheard of, the sig p238 has amazing 3-dot night sights the are adjustable as well

Diamond Back is one the finest Air Boat manufactures in the world. Not inflated and not fiberglass boats. Diamond Back firearms is sub of the air boats. I am pretty sure they have their own designers with no help from anybody.
