Is it really true that suicide rates among gay people are higher because of homophobia?

NO... Look at sucide rates among gay people in societies that are very very gay friendly, such as the Neitherland...Guess what, suicide rates among gay Dutch are also much higher than their straight counterparts...

I can tell you that gay people living in Catsro in San Francisco or Chelsea in NYC are also very depressed, abuse drugs and achohol, involved unsafe sexual practices...is it b/c of homophobia??
