  • Text to speech complete with mess-ups. Good job!

  • @HomeoftheGoodGuys There were a few games on the Aquarius that are "Snafu", but I remember that game, it was originally on the Intellivision console, I remember "File Forms" and other stuff. I remember the printer and the datasette recorder. Those brought back memories. It's from the same people who made the Intellivision console. I remember the big box that has all the bundle for the Aquarius including the accessories. I hope the AVGN would review that in the future.

  • I remember that computer since I was a kid when me and my brother got their first computer for Christmas and it was a Mattel Aquarius computer system, this has nothing to do with the title of the song by the 5th Dimension, but this one was a great system. I used to play games and stuff on the Aquarius. I missed them all. Thankfully this was way beyond Apple and Microsoft, both did very well. Sadly, it lasted about 4 months and it was a huge flop.

  • I had one when i was a little kid, It was the first computer i had used it had American basic so colour was color, which when you were trying to program something was evil! The vid was excellent and only a few bad pointers the font used to show things on the screen was unreadable unless i have gone blind overnight!

two why so shy i though the connection had gone squiffy cos you went all blocky..

The use of the computer generated voice was novel if a bit cold, but it worked well good concise vid

  • I just picked up one of these things. Thanks for the info. Great video!

  • Well, anything with a version of "Astrosmash" can't be all bad!

  • Nicely done retro homage. Thanks for the effort and the memories.

  • By 1984 in the video game crash this thing was marked down to $99 and it still wasnt selling.

  • LED lights.. state of the art shit back in the day. that alone bumped the cost up $20.00 lol sad.. but true.

  • I used to play burger time + dungeons n dragons at a friends house.. great games.. but well lets face it 2.. games.. ya need a bit more than that + 1k.. =)
