A pair of rare black blue-eyed lemurs were given to the Oakland Zoo by the Duke University Lemur Center. There are only 66 of these animals in captivity worldwide. Lemurs are found only in Madagascar.
Wonderful. Not only do these little guys need help, but the people of Madagascar need help and education so that they can live in harmony with nature rather than continue the way they have done for centuries.
