  • Looked like a pretty good instructor. Hope the cadet is an officer today.

  • Thanks...as the instructor, I appreciate the compliment. And yes, this cadet is a fine officer for a Central Florida Police Deaprtment.

  • hey i don t know if you guys can help me out with it but i was wondering ,if im born and i graduated in canada and now i have the american citizenship <can i be a police officer in florida (i live in broward county)? This is my dreams since im young

  • Yes, you can be a police officer or deputy sheriff in Florida. Being a citizen of the United States is one of the requirements in Florida, so you are good on that issue. Check out the FDLE (Florida Department of Law Enforcement) website. I hope this helps you. Good luck.

  • @onlyusemegrenade i havent taken it yet, but from what ive seen and learned from other officers, you go through a year or so application period, usaully with up to 1000 pages of paper to fill out, and you take polygraph tests, written tests and physical tests BEFORE the academy. Then if your accepted they assign you a date to start the academy, which then will complete the academy including physical and mental training. Always be honest, never lie...

  • @jdmderick no, you as the officer open the door, spot the weapon and tell the suspect to put his hands on the steering wheel, and if you need to draw your sidearm

  • yo that chick that was being the cop should have opened the door instead of letting the driver open the door

  • @richardweinblatt hey, i got a question. im going into the academy soon, and was curious if some recruits fail the academy? is it possible? god bless you for what you do!!

  • Im thinking about becoming a cop. Always wanted to ever since I was a little little kid. Someones gotta do it, why not someone who has always been interested

  • "You like working the road? You're gonna be doing it forever!" Hahahaha. Good training.

  • @onlyusemegrenade woo hooo!!! a fucken pig in the making!!!!

  • See how she had to move when he opened the car door? WRONG.

  • i am 17, and i got a question, as i someday hope to become an officer of the law. I was wondering what the general outline of police training, in the academy is like?

  • oo i was out there the other day didnt know they had an academy..
