  • There's no way this dog is a pure bred BM. He doesn't have the full black mask and even teething A BM's ear won't stick up like that they will just fold. I'd say 99% that it's a pit mix.

i met the parents and they were definitely bullmastiff, got papers too

  • @99pitbulls Not to say it isn't a good dog, but the mask and ears are two big indicators that it isn't a bullmastiff by breed standards. Here's my dog when he was 3 months old: i imgur com/2e6l2.jpg note the ears that fold flat even when back and the full black mask over his face. Also note the head shape and wrinkling even at 3 months. Again, not knocking your dog, just letting you know it isn't a conforming BM.

  • @99pitbulls Papers mean literally nothing. They say nothing of the dog's conformation to breed standards, only that at some point in the dog's genealogy there was at least one actual conforming bullmastiff. Think of it this way: you have a 6'10" guy, you call him "tall". He has 4 kids, all are over 6'8", but one is 6'6". That 6'6" guy's kids are all 6'5 or taller, except one who is 6'3". This repeats until there's a child descended from a 6'10" guy who is 5'10". Is he tall?

  • Is that a brindle pit?

  • aw how cuttteeee!!!!!!!!

  • @TheAnimalDen

ya keeping any dog in a house without any exercise or chained up will eventually turn them into a beast, i had my other dogs in an apartment for a couple years and it wasnt the ideal situation but i made sure to take them on long walks, i found a place now for the same rent with a backyard so the dogs are lovin it

  • @99pitbulls being a large breed that he is,i think it would be wise to provide him with plenty of exercise, because won't he become Distrucktive when he;s board ?

  • @TheAnimalDen

I've heard that because even though they're big they dont need much exercise, but i honestly dont know yet because i've only had my bullmastiff for a couple months

  • @99pitbulls is it true their good apartment dogs ?
