A wild sunfish pulled from Lady Bird Lake in Austin, Texas. Think this is male, sometimes his color changes and he makes nests in the gravel.

@raid152 He eats flake food, pellets, meal worms, mollies and mosquito fish. It might take awhile for your fish to accept flakes or pellets. Hope this helps!
