The GTI is a very well made car, and quite fast for a FWD. We've owned Audi's, Beemers, and VW's, and the quality of VW's has gone way up lately. The interiors look and feel like an Audi.

You need to learn a lot more about cars. Mercedes invented car(first car), first sports car, fuel injection, seat belt, airbags, seat belt, traction control, etc.
VW (peoples moblile) is okay but its no benz. Comparing vw to a benz is like comparing mcdonald to a five star resturant.
