Caring for Your Face

A basic skincare regime is the best way to keep your complexion clear!

Here I demonstrate the basics of my skin care routine, using Kose brand Softymo White Medicated Face Wash, Clean & Clear Deep Cleaning Astringent for Sensitive Skin, and MAC Studio Moisture Fix.

Normally, I wash my face in the shower; this makes it easier to rinse all the cleanser off, and the steam opens the pores in my face, making it easier for my cleanser to get deeper and remove more dirt and oil.

Astringent is a great way to prevent acne breakouts and treat them, as well. The salicylic acid targets the dirt and grease in your skin and cleans out the dirty bits that cause pimples and blackheads.

Moisturizer is very important, especially in dry climates. Don't just moisturize your face; Your decolletage, meaning your neck and the area of your chest exposed by your low-cut shirts, also needs to be moisturized to keep a healthy, vibrant appearance.

Antibiotic cream is always good for facial nicks or dry skin. I use it to treat a dry nose from a cold, and several open blemishes on my browline.
