Here we are at Stamford Station, where we see one Metro North train as it comes into the station, as well as one CDOT Shoreline East Train. I am unsure of where the Metro North Train was going, but it consisted of 2 pairs of M2's and an M4 triplet in the rear. The Shoreline East Train is Train 1644, the SLE train to Old Saybrook. Today's consist is P40DC 833 and 4 Mafersa cars, with cab car 1705 on the head end. If you have any questions about the video, feel free to message me. Comments are welcome. The video was taken on February 5th, 2009.
Well I understand the paint scheme in whole is still kind of Amtrak's, but from seeing this I get the idea that they will be repainted to the standard New Haven colors CDOT typically uses.

as FL9AC said, not really a paint scheme - but these are the ones Gov Rell had CDOT buy. These engines were previously leased, but now apparently they are purchasing a few of them.......

last stop has nothing to do with horn, as 538 said, its SOP on MN to sound horn when entering a station area, especially between 6a-9p, or if the platform is visibly seen to be occupied.........

I wouldn't call that "CDOT paint"....maybe Connecticut Commuter Rail decals and some silver krylon.

To let people know that there was a train coming. On Metro-North, that the rule. I wish the same thing for the LIRR.
