According to Peter, this wine will have you "seeing double & feeling single". In true Orin Swift style, this is a wine with a serious backbone. And according to Allie this dominatrix of Grenache, from Southern France, gets the whip out on your palate.

  • Good point! D66 is indeed a blend. While it is predominately Grenache, it's not entirely so. And without the Syrah & Carignan, this wine wouldn't be the wine that it is. Cheers to varietals in blends that deserve to be mentioned! :)

  • the D66 has a slight blend of Syrah (12%) and carignan (8%) so though in the wine world this would be a grenache wine and the rest would not need to be noted, it is not 100% grenache. They were kind enough to give us the the complete idea of what encompasses D66 so people should know also.

    looks like great fun!
