Installation of a coolant filter kit on an 03-07 Ford Powerstroke 6.0. Installing a coolant filter kit is perhaps one of the best bits of preventitive maintenence you can do for your 6.0 Powerstroke.
Thanks for the helpful vid, but you might want to mention the optional heater thingamajig on that 3/4" line that gets in the way a little. My truck had it and it was pretty cramped to work around it. Fortunately the DieselSite filter I had gotten included pictures of the option as well as which side of it to tap off of.

I'm thinking of buying a 6.0 psd in the near future. Do you recommend removing the EGR valve in conduction with installing this cooling filter kit
