I have personal friends who live on this reservation, IT IS A THIRD WORLD COUNTRY here in AMERICA!!!! It sickens and disgusts me how on earth we send millions of dollars overseas and yet our own original American inhibiter's live without, it is a tragedy and an embarrassment to the USA!! As an American it should be our duty to protect and cherish what is fundamentally the true people of this great land we call America!!

LOTS: Agree 100%. The vile treatment of our relatives on Pine Ridge is hideously evil. There is no way that those who have perpetrated crimes on them historically can escape the Creator. I also agree with Orion--casinos ARE NOT the answer. Our relatives on Pine Ridge are a proud and hopeful people who need their own plans to create their own means of self-sufficiency. They need lot's of money...clean green energy for harsh Winters...educational and technical training opportunities....etc. Lots.

Why can't you just accept these people as who they are? Why do they have to continue going through these sufferings?? I agree, why are these people treated like this while we spend millions over seas. I am the son of a red neck, but I don't accept this racial inequality put forth by many of our people. What did Jesus say? Love Your Neighbor as yourself. I saw Homeland and it made me so upset, so much injustice ,shows our complete lack of true spirituality and our complete arrogant attitude. I am headed to Pine Ridge in July to run a natural building workshop teaching how to build homes from natural materials and waste materials, the house will be made from pallets and in filled with light straw clay an earthen plaster will be applied on the interior and exterior of the home, i build these type of houses where I live in Texas, I am looking for volunteers, and I am taking 8 apprentices to learn this method of home building, for more info click my name and go to my website, see you!!
