@braddyboy82 yea this criticism pretty terrible. the korean family did a good job. i dont know why she calls them stiff? "grows more intriguing as it evolves." thats some pretty fancy bullshit lol. technical jargon+ girl with a pretty face =/= good!

This woman is a moron.
-
I can tell you didn't learn a thing from this movie.
-
The only reason anyone dislikes this movie is because they're too stupid to view racism in media as artistic content. Gran Torino was the movie of the year.
-
I think you're an overeducated 27 year old virgin who likes to hold the hands of old women and promises them eternity
We used to stack FUCKS like you five feet high in Korea, use ya for sandbags!

Hilariously, it's the Asians that are movin in on his nice suburban neighborhood. Gee whiz.
-
too bad Clint didn't have the nuts to make a movie about Blacks moving into his neighborhood.
-
This is an excellent movie.
Clint is a boss.

It's not the what, it's the how. This could have been another generic "old man learns one more lesson" film, but the way the characters interacted and grew together is what made it so good. I especially liked how Thao was, however embarrassingly, initiated into the culture of adult American men, especially when his own family had basically given up on him. Despite it's flaws this is really a great film.

she is just a dumb whore, why would ANYBODY deem opinion on the movie to be relevant??

-
This was an awesome movie reminds me of a more bad ass red from that 70s
show
-
I see this movie as a flawed masterpiece.
-
Clints still got it

i loved this movie! we need more people like him who wont put up with any bullshit!! this society has gone to the dogs!!!
-
10 outta 10 for this movie on of the best i've seen.

this movie has one main character you did not talk much about, but his role with Walt is the entire reasoning behind the tragic ending. Walt could not confess to the PRIEST about his past at war, he ENJOYED it too much., He went overboard -one scene admitted that. He remained guilty and bitter and could not forgive himself.....he choose to die in the end for a purpose though. That was for the familly next door. He could have commited suicide..but that would have been the easy way out!

So would I be right in saying that you might be a John Wayne fan,
What a finale he had. The Shootist was a great film to go out on. Long live the Duke.
-
Well that is your opinion. I thought it was a great movie. Very wholesome.
Need more stuff like this and not the usual hollywood garbage.
-
I like alot of Clint's movies, and he is not a bad director, but this was not one of his finest acting roles and it would be a shame to go out on this. OK.
-
Bwaha that's all you can say? Moron.
-
you call me that , with a name like yours mmm???
-
Overacted? You're a retard. He played the character to a TEE.
You realize there are 100's of veterans out their with his same demeanor.
This is the best movie of the year.
