@shawnrb This R8 has 800 Wheel HP vs SP1000 GTR 900 Wheel HP. Fast shifing gtr with twin Clutch pulls .2 sec on every shift over R8.
Results in 1/8 mile

@thuff420 lol you're calling me the dumbass when you are colorblind and can' t even tell that obviously the camera doesn't pick up the color shade perfectly, giving it a slight pinkish appearance. Just look at the guys lanyard, or the red wall next to the GTR, or even the orange cones, they all appear to look slightly pink, but we all know they are not. Plus the tail lights on the R8 look the same color as the rest of the car, and tail lights are guaranteed red, thus proving my point.

if other brands ran gearing as short as the GTR's, they would be more similar off the line and 1/4 mile. That's the main advantage GTR has inherently over other sports cars, it's also the reason their transmissions have been grenading on such a regular basis.
The overall build and complexity of the car caused it to gain so much weight, but Nissan had to hit a homerun with it's first dedicated Export Market GTR not based on Skyline.
...to compensate for 3800+ lbs, super short gearing!
