  • The Christmas that I got my first drumset, my brother also got an electric guitar. The first thing we did was throw on Road To Ruin so we could figure out the opening cut. This song, featuring Marky Ramone, taught me everything about drumming: how to keep steady time, when to switch to the ride cymbal, and that playing the bass drum independent of the snare is WAY harder than it seems.

  • @Brettney01 like the spits

  • @saganyouth73 Thank you !

  • @SpaceAce2704 foreighner

  • Un saludo para Mi Nezota!!!!!

  • stop arguing about punk rock, you faggots

  • @strummersbrother I know what you mean. My point was focused more in the fact that the Clash though they were a punk band, kept experimenting and doing thing different from their "style" if you wanna call it that. That's why to me they're more like the Beatles. A rock band experimenting and going way far from their start point. The Ramones would be more like the Stones, 'cause even though they're great at what they do and kick ass, they never really did that much to break any standard.

  • @jamiroquaisfakengay I can see your analogy, sort of, but in truth the origins of punk were different. There is no one punk band that busted open all doors and impacted everything the way the Beatles did. Actually the closest comparison i think would have to be the Pistols, 'cept they didn't stand the test of time. Interesting analogy anyway!

  • what's written on Joey's t-shirt ?

  • @Brettney01 They're more like the Rolling Stones of Punk. The Beatles of punk would be the Clash.
