Graet video Bruce and i'm a user of the AR500 and as yet never had a problem with them (i have 5 of them so far) touch wood lol,but i have been on a couple of forums and there has been a few people upset with them,but from what i can gather is they are using them wrong or using to many servo's and not backing there ESC up with a UBEC so it's not really the AR500 thats at fault ;-( thumbs up and now going to join the forum.

There is one thing I missed in your 2.4GHz shoot out and that is how these systems work with a 500mW or 1W video transmitter in proximity of the receiver, because that is what a lot of people use. Can you say anything about that? Would you still suggest Hitec or FrSky?

i subbed both channels and joined thte forum bruv nice one ;) btw start your text "May 11, 2010 — Another edition of the (almost) weekly RC" with link to your forum instead so joe public like me can open your forum in a new page whle watching the video :D might aswell use the advertising while its free ;) one day you might not be able to put links there but if thats in 5yrs you will have loads of vids pointing you to the forum ;)

So THIS is the famous XJet? Wow, not at all what I imagined he would be like. I was on several forums, including the XPS forum, where he constantly trashed their products. Funny it got him banned, but it turned out he was right. I had endless problems with my XPS setup, and recently moved to Aurora 9 with Optima receivers. AWESOME setup guys! Nice to see he agrees.

Got the FrSky set, it has 1.40 minutes airtime after a dodgey prop failed in the air! No problems with it yet!
