Broken Horse by Freelance Whales @ NYC Farm Colony

Here are Freelance Whales playing acoustic songs in the dark at Staten Island's Farm Colony. This footage was taken in mid-december of 2008, just before Freelance Whales started playing electric shows around NYC. The video was shot by Kendall Mills, who is smoking a cigarette behind the camera, lending an occasional (and intentional?) density to the air.

4:49 minutes, but nothing really happens in the music. Start the video, stop it at 1:30 and you know the whole song... But I must admit they seem to have found their own sound, though...
