im an irish guard. i quite happily walk down my street in donegal all the time. my friends, protestant and catholic all have no problems with my job. its just small minded idiots with their heads up their own asses and an 1970's mentality that ever seem to have a problem.and as for the ulsterscots protestant remark, u really are proving ur ignorrance there. over 20% of us are from the republic compared to 25% from up norththe rest are second generation irish men and english/commenwealth.

u tell him mate im irish and so was my great grandad and uncle both of them served in the british army as im i . im not doing it to betray my country. serving in the british army was somting i ve always wanted to do as a career. so dont listen to that stupid cunt mate wat regiment are thinking of joining
