God I really, really miss Clive Bull on LBC. His voice got better with age I think. Rainbow George was one of my favourite callers :-)

Loved Clive's show in the early 90s. I would fight the sleep to stay up and listen. Perhaps my fondest memory is when Babs in Bermondsey called, terrified of a spider in the corner of her bedroom. I remember Clive was making fun and taunting her, leading her to say the immortal words "I'm gonna come up there and bleedin' well sort you out!" Had me in stitches.

I used to love Babs from bermondsey and that mad guy who loved sci fi from the tottenham court road. those were the good old days.
