Hinduism is 5000 years old atleast. Islam is 1600 years old.
In Sanskrit, Mahamad is not a name, but a compound word.
Maha = Great; (as in Mahabharata, Maharashtra etc.)
Mad = strength;
So it means mahamad means large strength.
