After I've grafted the shoots of different banana specimens, I control their growth by letting only one shoot grow. But without killing the other.

  • My experiment maybe should not be called grafting. I join the underground stem of the banana plants for a different reason. It is not the conventional grafting done in ordinary plants with aerial stems.

  • Plant the Raja Puri in the same spot with the Musa Basjoo in the ground not in the pot like I did in my video. The corm of the Basjoo will protect the roots of the Raja.

Plant them in a place protected from the north wind and where it gets a lot of sunshine during the winter. Cover them with rice straw or dry grass.
