Mario Kart Wii: What Was He Thinking? 4-29-09

Recently I played against YouTube's Jughead870 on Nintendo WFC. For those of you who don't know, Jughead870 is the creator of the "Mario Kart Wii: What am I thinking?" video series, where he goes online and records races under the name of Rich Petty, and uploads to YouTube and proceeds to make annotations of what he was thinking at the time during the races. Anyways, he contacted me a while ago and we planned an encounter where we would both race each other and record the video from our points of view. Jughead870's video can be found here:

Some random stuff to note:

- Not all of my POWs and Lightnings work, if you watch mine and Jughead's videos side by side you'll be able to see that. The reason for this is that they're both on timers - at most one lightning every 25 seconds, one POW every 15 or it doesn't count. Since I don't have time to observe the timer and count seconds, I just fire at random for the most part and hope they hit :P
- I spent the first lap stopping players from doing the Grumble Volcano ultra shortcut, so that's why I was torturing the people in last place.
- I didn't come completely last because I couldn't, someone disconnected, it's not me being evil ;)

I couldn't help but feel better about my life when I finally read the video description...this is actually really pretty sad. I feel bad for all of the kids who think this guy is cool...I don't even know what to say. I started feeling bad for saying anything about this video now. Read the description and you'll understand.
