  • I live in Germany. This is the first time I heard that the Germans celebrate the holiday all week and hide knifes. Actually, Germany is just starting to celebrate Halloween. It comes from American pop culture. Americans stationed in Germany have been throwing Halloween party at Frankinstien's Castle in Darmstat for years. The Germans have not quite figured out tricker treating yet. But some of them are trying to get that going. In the last five years it has became more popular, though.
