I met Ian Turnbull when I was about 8 years old at a baseball game in Brantford Ontario. Everyone was crowding around Sitler to get his Autograph which left Mr. Turnbull wide open. That was 32 years ago and I can still remember that moment, one of the nicest people I have ever met.

It's obvious Chantal Kreviaziuk did't strive too much to do a perfect job, but her great talent helped her out and the result is more than acceptable (though far from beeing perfect). That's the best Canadian anthem I found on youtube.

From what I saw on this site, it seems Canadians only sing their anthem at the hockey stadiums. No record studios in Canada ?

Part 1

I searched for hours a good quality Canadian anthem. I found all kind of sh***: "me, singing drunk the Canadian anthem", "two years old x singing Canadian anthem", I even found celebrities butchering the Canadian anthem, most notably Celine Dion. I dream about a day when one of the greatest Canadian singer will record it in a professional record studio and will take his job seriously. I would suggest the Canadian government to fine youtube for each anthem posted here, except this one.
