@atal0071 i think you mean post-hardcore which is the gay scene genre from which metal core originated, because there is also hardcore punk which has been a big influence in metal since its beginning

@atal0071 Whats with metalcore hatred :o, I agree that bullet for my valentine and most MAINSTREAM metalcore sucks but bands like protest the hero, between the buried and me, converged, textures and Dillinger escape plan are fucking genious just to name a few.
Metalcore, originally, was metal mixed with elements of hardcore and if you like napalm death, assuck or any grindcore bands, you should be able to appreciated hardcore. Grind is pretty much hardcore to its maximum intensity :D
