The news story, "Real Life Mentalists," explored both the entertainment and the law enforcement sides of mentalism techniques. Turner's short segment on the report was excerpted from a 75-minute interview in which he discussed mentalism as an art and some of the psychology of the performance of mentalism. He also demonstrated techniques such as drawing duplication, metal-bending, and thought perception. Turner's interview covered perception, influence, and non-verbal communciation; much of the same material was covered in the full report in a subsequent interview with a prominent Georgia criminal profiler.
