@StealthB6 yup, total agree with you - waste to take it over 130km/h, considering I'm doing 150km roundtrips, going slower adds up maybe 10 minutes ? Minor speeding and smart lane changing in the city covers for the loss ;-)
at 180km/h (on the dash) it gulps down 16l/100km and further pushing towards topspeed at 200km/h will empty the fuel tank at rate of 23l/100km :/
I've got the same car, same engine and it does 10L/100km at 160km/h and about 8.5L/100km at 140km/h with two passengers and the boot full on the highway. I figured it's just better to go at 110-130km/h. Speed saves little time for how short highways are here, but it makes a huge difference in fuel consumption. One night I did an average of 6L/100km in 350km and the trip computer showed an average speed of 75km/h, same load as above, no highways. Great machine!
