My son is 10 and hoh...sensorinural moderate to severe from birth...he wants to tell you "I don't know how to do sign language very good, I wanna learn." He is mostly oral and has been resistant to learning ASL (embarrassed, thinks it's too hard??) Thank you for showing him someone he can look up to....he watches your videos intensely and smiles:) I have tried to open him up to signing more and more.

Good song, makes me feel horrible that I can't keep up haha, i think this weekend i'm going to try another song and see the difference between us. I love it :) although, next time i'd keep my hands on screen :P

See if you can TRY, Signing without doing it WORD TO WORD, Take the concept of the song and translate it for Deafies to SEE THE VISION of the song PURPOSE, Ex.. Im Moving on.. is about a dude.. whom has learned from his life experinces, hence, is going to move on from the past and do better in the future... So take that concept and try to express it in the form of ASL.. ADEAFDUDE

That song, happens to be my ALL time fav... from time to time, your hands were NOT visable :-(... When they were, i got to see, your performance :-). As a DeafDude.. I see POTENTIAL in your signing abilities :-). You could be right up there like " Micheal DiMartino" A.K.A Captain Lover ( Grins). If you havent checked him out, do so.. Watch his performance... Its kewl that you do signs in English, however, majority of the Deaf World, uses ASL.
