Demi: (waiting in the waiting room reading an old magazine that has been there since the company opened, 10 years ago)

Secretary: (looks over at Demi and looks back at the paper)

Demi: (her phone rings and she answers it) hello?

Selena: hey, you out yet?

Demi: (looks around) nope, theyre still interviewing other people. Im next though.

Selena: (sighs) okay then, bye

Demi: bye (hangs up)

???: (from inside the office) WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DONT HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE? GET OUT OF HERE!

Person: (runs out of the office)

???: ugh.. (walks out of the room) that was the last of them, right?

Secretary: (shakes her head) no Mr. Jonas, you have one more (points at Demi)

???: (looks at her and mumbles: great)( fakes a smile) please come in (turns his back and rolls his eyes)


****meanwhile*****

Selena: (walks up to Miley) she is still waiting in the waiting room

Miley: should we wait for her?

Selena: (shrugs)

Miley: (looks up at the tall building with big letters at the look saying : Jonas Co.)

Selena: think shell get the Job?

Miley: sure I do, I mean she does have a lot of experience, I mean she did build a lot of model houses when she was younger, Im pretty sure she wont have problems building real ones this time.

Selena: yea, youre probably right

Miley: (smiles) yes I am

****with Demi****


???: ( sits on his chair) take a seat

Demi: (sits on a chair)

???: okay why do you want this job?

Demi: well Mr. Jonas- (gets cut off)

???: call me Nick

Demi: um, well Nick, I always wanted to work in construction and I heard your company was the best (smiles)

Nick: flattery will get you nowhere

Demi: oh, Im not trying to be flattering

Nick: (nods) yea, sure you are

Demi: (gets a bit mad but shakes it off) so here is my résumé ( takes it out and shows it to him)

Nick: (looks at it for a few seconds and gives it back to him) how old are you?

Demi: 20, why?

Nick: you look younger (chuckles) I was mistaken you for a 16 year old

Demi: (brushes her hair out of the way) thanks, I guess

Nick: you can go now

Demi: wait, thats it? No more questions or anything

Nick: (shakes his head) nope, its not like Im actually going to hire you (Laughs)

Demi: wait, why?

Nick: because youre a girl, girls cant build

Demi: WHAT!
