@zgjfslkdfs This is still on show on the UK (currently on Fringe). He is truly great, the whole production is.

@XXXXXSEAPUPXXXXX I actually I agree. I think the novel 'A Clockwork Orange' needs to be adapted again with a large budget, and decent FX, and of course with the original ending of the novel included. The 1971 movie, which omitted the original ending of the novel, comes off as a movie that the end of the day has nothing to say for itself as the message of the story is completely missing. 1971 version is OK as a standalone movie but it really is a travesty of the novel.

It is a pity that I missed this production. I wish it was videotaped & uploaded here on YouTube. I have to say the actor's portrayal of Alex is the closest one to the actual novel (in my opinion). I think he truly captures the innocent-like evilness of Alex as he appears in the novel. Malcolm MacDowell's performance in the movie (whilst it is a very earnest & decent performance) comes off as rather a more comedic character rather than the terrifying hoodlum as portrayed in the novel. 10/10 ;-)

@XXXXXSEAPUPXXXXX Fuck no. A remake of A Clockwork Orange must not be made. It would suck. The original is a fantastic cinematic achievement by master director Stanley Kubrick. A remake would do nothing but denigrate the title.
