@luvureally I've known this music since I was a kid. I'm 51 years old now.

@bigchubby100 Well said...and this from a "white chick" who doesn't understand why this great music conversation has to turn into a racial thing. Chill guys and enjoy the music and each other - no matter what color.
-
for all of you who have to turn this into a black or brown thing lets remember we have more in common than anyone else so lets put this race thing to the side and enjoy the music cuz its the only thing that breaks the race barrier.
-
I wonder if there will ever be a YouTube posting of a song for which the conversation doesn't degenerate into references to race, religion or Justin Bieber. Doesn't seem like it's happened yet.

@Philtration racism unfortunately still excists but i feel like music transends everything! i honestly feel sorry the people that let their ignorance rob them of fantastic musical experiences -

I Remember the very day when I gave away all my Cap Guns, Holsters and Stick Horses and told my little pardners I was still there for them but I had to learn how to dance and Playing Cowboy was out and Girls were in. . .Damn those were some great days!
I don't get it.
Who gives a fuck if the song was recorded by a black, hispanic or white artist?
If it is good then that is all that matters.
Do you like it? Does it bring back memories of good times from long ago?
Then it is a part of YOUR life.
Their is no claim to music and it belongs to no one.
It is one thing that we all have in common so why piss all over it here?

@felixicon Give it up to the BLACK brothers and sisters for creating this music, 'cause if they hadn't your "brown" brothers wouldn't have it to "preserve" and you would have never heard it. Take your message of "respect" to that clown villain301.
