Actually I think when she was taking her cloths off she was trying to act crazy enough the state would be forced to step in so she didn't have to take the risk of directly defying the cult. It wasn't a bad plan, the cult just had her out maneuvered. She obviously wanted to make that choice. Why she didn't make it more obvious earlier? It takes a while to see you've been conned. At what point do these grown adults who are choosing to participate in this sadist type of religious cult forget they have a choice? If I would have been at the hospital as a grown woman and didn't want to go with them then I wouldn't have. I would have called the police for help, my family someone. It's like she was a child who was so damaged she thought she had no choice. Where was her family who settled out of court? After what happened how could they do that?
