(Formerly) Ace Flier thinks his 1/4-scale World Models Piper Cub is actually a cross between a pylon racer and an IMAC aerobatics plane. Just as well that ASP180 is fed with a good diet of our excellent fuel.

Doesn't he fly it just like the real thing?

  • Hi Bruce, do you know who made this bird??

  • @jimnrel It's a World-Models ARF. Lance put this one together.

  • why were the jet powered sounds added good vid ruined by the crap jet sound

  • Because it was filmed at a jet meeting -- there were a whole bunch of turbine-powered models there as well. You can see them in my other videos.

  • Finally one who has discovered the cubs capabilities.. it is an exellent aerobatic plane, a little slow movement, but still...

  • Yes! Do you know how hard it is to find someone who actually attempts any kind of aerobatics with a Cub???

I'm going to buy the 1/5 version just because of this video LOL

    Awesome.

  • @j3cubdriver Bruce must have missed the knife edge, it does knife edge really well. I haven't flown it for about four years now so it's about time I blew the dust off it I think.

  • I thought it was great flying, it's me!

  • Nice plane. How far can that plane go ?

  • 3:00 So THAT's where the jet noises were coming from.

  • Nice, Did I miss the knife edge?

  • Piper cubs are great fun, this is how they're meant fly!

  • @cossieno +1 I love to fly the cub-such a smooth flying airframe that can cause permanent grins!
