well, since the car is turning, he should have waited until the bike was gone. obviously it is about being aware of oncoming traffic. if the bike was traveling at the speed limit, it would have been obvious that he shouldnt have pulled out.

LOL. No, not killed yet. I assume everyone (drivers, cyclists, pedestrians, etc) will do the opposite of what they should. If they should stop, they'll go. If they should go straight, they'll turn. If they should stay on sidewalk, they'll walk into street. If they don't, great, but I'm prepared if they do. Requires practice. Learn to anticipate and react quick. Practice stopping quick, turning quick to avoid, and so on. After that, like stunt riding, it's actually kind of fun.

Yes, I have been to Spain. In fact, have vacationed there several times. Traffic behavior was not any worse then some of the other locations I've visited. Rome (Italy) was the absolute worst I've experienced, followed by Los Angeles.

Florida here! wouldn't ya know in these commercials the "biker" is always wearing a helmet and other protective attire. Problem is that at least HERE most of these shitheads ride around with nothing more than a bandanna on their stupid fucking heads. I have an SUV with a steel frame, reinforced side panels, multiple air bags, seat belts and numerous signaling devices but if a cop sees ME not wearing a belt I get a ticket?!
