Best viewed with the latest Flash player, umm not that best anyway, it's an amateur video ;) I was so lucky witnessing this only small part (I believe) of Sasak's (the aborigines people of Lombok island) wedding ceremony. It was taken in a village called Tetebatu, Central Lombok, en route to whatever name of this waterfall. If you're familiar enough with Balinese culture and traditions, you can see that there are some similarities shown in the video, such as its music instruments, outfits, the rhythm of the music, and many more I guess. So here's a short story of the procession (taken from:http://www.tabblo.com/studio/stories/view/1242878/): the procession start from a term called 'merari', where the bride and groom must be runaway to another village. Then the chieftain will tell to the family of both sides to arrange a ceremony with the big drum. After 'meeting up' amongst families, the groom will pick up the bride and they'll walking along the street which divided into two groups. groom's and bride's, just like a carnival.
