@Daftbananana go for it! and I want to see pictures when you're done!! funny that, my sewing machine went FUBAR when I was making my genesis coat (bobbin shuttle slipped out, needle hit it on the way down and has misaligned the needle shaft....needs servicing, but like you, not going to be doing it any due to Christmas funds)

@calleymacleod hehe i hope to be able to do that once i get my sewing machine up and running (not allowed it until christmas -_-, but its a singer so its all worth it) but it'll be a mix of versailles, malice mizer, mana (overall, knowing his greatness) and other visual kei kit to go strutting around in

@Daftbananana yeah, but makes it hell deciding which barmy Gackt-based coat/outfit to wear whilst off gallavanting through town...."hmmmm, which one will make me look the most freaky today?!......*whips out winged Le ceil outfit with 20 foot wingspan*..."that'd do it...now, how do I get out the door?" anyways, My Neil Gaiman "king of all nights dreaming" coat has had a bit too much daylight time lately :)

@calleymacleod awwwh~ that sucks, but if you thin about it, that means more for you! XD

@Daftbananana problem is, the cost of the materials was atronomical, the genesis coat cos nearly £100 to make and I can't see it selling for too much more than that really....(hubby had already suggested making our millions out of it, lol!) - besides, there's faults in the coat (being a first run) that would make it unsellable :( I know I could correct these with practise, but soon as i start doing something for a job, it suddnely takes all the fun out of it.

@calleymacleod it looks awesome! Go for it! i bet there would be a lot of people who would pay a heck of a lot for commissions, you never know, it coulds help towards a holiday and that much loved guitar!
