It's about time someone produced a series hybrid. Same method diesel-electric trains have used for decades.
This allows the engine/charging system to be tuned for max efficiency instead of a compromise for performance across a wide RPM range like is need when driving the wheels directly.
I dont mind to get this car if the engine charges the power to the battery but why actually cant ?!?!?

This is very interesting, hopefully this will sve GM, im not a GM fan but this is an interesting car. Id like to see more of this.
