As always, Rickey Godfrey musical mastery just blew me away. To stand there within feet of his guitar, I stood mesmerized watching his fingers work the strings. Oh! What a gift! I'm jealous!

After a few songs, I heard Rickey calling Ryan to the stage. Ryan? Was he asking for The Ryan of the Brown Street Club? Usually Ryan is working to make sure the performers have what they need to perform. In the words of my ancestors, "I'll be a monkey's uncle!"
I saw The Ryan stepping across the stage with a bass in hand. Honestly, I thought, "hmmm. This should be interesting."
Then...... I heard it. I heard the sounds of an oh familiar song and I realized they were playing a cover of Jimmy Hendrix's "Hey Joe".
Oh yessss! Both of these boys can play! What a nice surprise. I can not get over the fact that there are so many musicians hiding out in Greenville.
