Just because your scared of heights does not mean everyone is. Grow a pair already! You may need someone to hold your hand through life but they don't. I am sick of petty rules and regulations.I work with heights daily and find a lanyard more of a safety problem then solution. And I happen to know of a situation were the snap and swing of the harness ended up killing the man in a survivable fall. In the end we are accountable only for ourselves. So let me make my call on my safety!

The uploader is not a "pile of shit" People do have to make living. A tech died this past weekend in Chicago with no safety gear from a ladder fall. The Uploader reminded the techs to be safe. This is a good wake up call for them. We all want to go home at the end of the workday alive. This guy knew he was in the wrong. Looked to be training as well. Slackers.

ACTUALLY!! The guy who took the video did right by me. If a supervisor had pulled up and saw that technician without his helmet and safety harness he would have been written up on the spot. Sometimes these techs need some reminding that doing it right is what keeps their jobs. That one tech doing it wrong, gets all the other techs who do it right in trouble. Keep filming and posting. Maybe the angry people here will go get jobs with DT or Dish.
