Moving to Holden Beach June 2012! I am so excited but scared. I currently live in NJ and visit Holden for 2 weeks each year. I love it there, and its gonna be a dream come true

Holden Beach is one of those secret spots not many people know about..and that is a good thing! The one of the things that I think is so cool is the homes that sport the hurricane symbols in front...the ones they've made it through. You know those hurricane evacuation route signs...well they have the hurricane symbol with the hurricane's name and the year. Alot of major hurricanes have made land fall there. Last time I was there, about 25 homes have been washed away. The north end was gone!

ahahha we have our own trailor there in Supply..the bridge is awesome..i have some pics i took off of the bridge from the car..when me and mom go to the grocery store the day we get there on vacation, i'm like "i wanna see the bridge!!!" i live four hours away from the coast so its totally worth it =) holden beach forever!

I love the bridge! You can see it from the pier at our vacation house, and I love to watch the cars go over it at night.

Omg this is my favortite part about holden beach because this is the first part of your vacation it just makes me all of a sudden get a ton of energy!! Cant wait to go back!!
