Aristotle was born in a very small town/village in Macedonia (Satgeira at Chalcidice) and he went to Athens to study at Plato's academy and he was exiled from there once because of being from Macedonia and went to teach Alexander and then he returned at Athens and established his own school there called the Lyceum. He had to live again when Alexander was killed. He went to live at the house he inherited from his mother at Chalcis.

No DNA data is available on the ancient Macedonians,

because none has ever been revcovered from the ancient

Macedonian graves,of which about 900 have been investigated

in Vergina (Aegae).That means there is no DNA signature

on the ancient Macedonians. In otherwords to date,

nobody has any idea what the genetic profile of the

ancient Macedonians is.

Athenians considered most other Greeks as Barbarians

including the Spartans. And all the individual

Greek tribes spoke with their own individual dialects.

Spartans spoke in the Laconian dialect, Boeotians

in the Boeotian dialect and the Macedonians, Akarnanians

and Aetolians spoke in an Aeolic/Doric Greek dialect.
