The adoption of Chinese babies to foreigners is a big money making scheme perpetrated by the Chinese government towards many unsuspecting foreigners. They lie to you about babies being abandoned in the middle of the streets, doorsteps, orphanage doors, or police stations. It has to stopped.

I'm Chinese and I used to live in Zhongzou Province. I was lucky enough to migrate into the US because my father was a businessman. What Barbara Demick is saying in this video are all true. Ever since China implemented its 1 child policy many of their children were taken away. Some by force. The government threathens them with imprisonment. The government then sends their kids to orphanage for adoption and then sells them to foreigners for a fee.

I have read many articles or news report by Barbara Demick, she seemed to report mostly negative news of China. There may be cases in which the babies were taken away, but I believe these are the exceptions rather than the norm. Everytime you read an article written by Demick on China, you will get a very negative impression of China.

Most people have no concept of the nightmarish pain and corruption in adoption. Mothers whose children were taken unlawfully by adoption agencies and attorneys are censored in the U.S., banned from conservative websites, attacked on our own websites, libeled, slandered - anything to silence and intimidate us. The U.S. Department of Justice has known for over 30 years that young and poor parents civil rights are trammeled in adoption proceedings, but does nothing to stop it.

NO money should change hands in adoptions, ever. Infant adoption is a multibillion dollar industry in the U.S. Google E.J. Graff's article "The Lie We Love" Graff is at the Schuster Institute for Investigative Journalism at Brandeis. They found that nearly all international adoptions are corrupt and the children are being taken unlawfully, NOT abandoned. The same is true of most U.S. infant adoptions. Google 'Shotgun Adoption' in the Nation. The entire adoption system is corrupt.

my gfs family has 5 kids in china LOL 4 girls 1 boy and they all born well after the 1 child policy was enforced they were all born in late late 80s and early 90s
