The first seasonal performance of the 2011-12 ETSU Bluegrass Pride Band at the last 2011 performance of Bluegrass On Broad downtown evening concert series in Kingsport, Tennessee. What a great way to close a great series for the year! Many thanks to Tom (TK) Keller for his vision and continuing sponsorship and advocacy of Bluegrass On Broad.
Fiddler Cara Oliphant composed the opening fiddle tune, Movin' East, and she is singing the lead vocal on the second number which is a very old, traditional Celtic ballad called The Nightingale.

Great original fiddle tune! If I had one criticism of this band as it is gettin' tighter and practicing more it would be to eliminate some of the back beat chop. Having three instruments (fiddle, fiddle, and mandolin) chop on the back beat makes everything feel a little lopsided.
