that was gay it looked like you missed then shot the deer then claimed you got it with an arrow, convenient how you found the pretty clean arrow already out of the deer..for my story at least. The shot would have completely missed if it hadn't ducked into it before it ran because you exposed yourself and were very close, you can obviously see it react before the arrow MAYBE hits it, can't tell if it does or not. But either way it doesn't look like the shot shown was a kill.

if u watch closely, the arrow hits its mark, and exits falling straight to the ground.... when a deer sees you and is on alert mode, u have to aim low because they will always duck... If he was looking in another direction and not in alert mode, i would have aimed straight at him.... Usually an arrow in the heart kills....

i feel big and brave, and if i could wear buckskin underwear without people making fun of me, i would.... fyi, wild hogs are known to hide and charge people minding their own business, i got other videos of hog killing..... stay tuned for more action from Backwoods Outdoors....

@CreQ An arrow leaving a compound bow is not nearly as fast as a rifle, because of this it is very possible for a deer to dodge the arrow once you fire. Just the SOUND alone and make a deer jump or run on reflex weather they see you or not. If you aim at the vital zone on a medium to long range shot the deer can "Jump the Wire" by lowering his body to make a big leap. He doesn't actually jump OVER the arrow, but the arrow will go right over his back as he is flexing down for his leap.

@sreyes454545 how simple is it to hit a deer in the heart with a bow shot? Taking into consideration the rib cage and the deer`s alertness. I am wanting to start hunting but im still trying to decide wether to use a gun or a bow.

Great shot...the archer knew the deer would duck....hence he shot lower. Dinner is served!!!!!

@CreQ pretty dumb commend, take advice fromthe guy, allert deer you aim a lil lower and they turn fast so it was hard to see it hit the mark the deer probably die soon after. do you even hunt??
