East Village, Downtown San Diego - Diamond Terrace Fire

On a quiet evening in the East Village, the sound of loud sirens from fire engines and the presence of police cars drew the attention of many locals just before 7:30 p.m. on Thursday October 1st. The various vehicles convened around Diamond Terrace, a 14 story high-rise condominium that stands on the corner of 9th Avenue and J Street, where a fire alarm from the building was echoing throughout the neighborhood.
