HEAR IT IN STEREO at http://www.archive.org/download/Walrusblossom/Walrus_Blossom_COPR2007GaryMurt...
(c)2007 Gary Murtha. A song poem done in the style of Crimson and Clover by Tommy James & The Shondells. Gary Murtha, the man behind STRAWBERRYWALRUS.COM wrote the lyrics. This multitrack recording was done with the Boss BR-864 by David Dubowski, a one man band. There is a wah guitar solo at the long break at 2:54. The wah pedal is a Rogue WV-201, amazingly only $20 but it sounds better than my old CryBaby. Be sure to click the link above, for the stereo MP3 which sounds a lot better than the youtube audio!

  • Nice! Who is the blossom, Yoko Ono? I need more clues!

"Life's book begins to close"-I knew I shouldn't have taken that speed reading course.

  • Thanks! That would be the lyric author's wife. Boots and Scotty are their dogs :)

  • u no i actually like ur stuff i hope u keep writing cause i like ur music n style id love to hear some original work a little down the road

  • Thanks dude! I just released an entire CD of these songs at geocities . com/songpoemhits

  • You should release this as an indie single. Artist name: They Might Be Shondells. Seriously, you sound a little like that TMBG guy and you know that can't be bad. My only suggestion, add the 4-minute wah-wah instrumental in the middle.
