I love how excited he gets when he talks about how Aldous Huxley called him a poet. I just love him. He lives forever in his books.

I always repeat his comment about doing what you love, and loving what you do.

Ray Bradbury is one of the authors that give great interviews. Along with Stephen King, I don't know of any other ones that can do that.

I think he meant Poe's brilliance; after all, he pioneered 2 genres of fiction.

He exhibited skepticism with regard to modern technology by resisting the conversion of his work into e-books and stating that "We have too many cellphones. We've got too many internets. We have got to get rid of those machines. We have too many machines now."

i remember the habit of smelling the books i read, too. Bradbury explains it perfectly. wonder what he thought about kindles? hard to smell the books through a kindle, i think. sure, it's ''economical'' and saves space, but it loses the magic. just an opinion.
