The previous lesson is continued by showing how to modify the scale you are in to get the different modes. Last of introductory mode lessons.

  • At the bottom of the mode-3 lesson page on the website (course 7), there is a link that explains this.

  • Excellent, thanks,!

  • ah man, i use to know all of this when i was taking guitar lessons years back. to tell you the truth, the concept of the scales is more important than the actual scales. good video :)

  • thanks for these guitar lessons you are giving

  • The big question with modes is how do you know that the Dorian mode has flat 3 and 7or the phrygian flat 2,3,6 and 7.

It took me a while to discover this but is good to see the relation between this and what you are showing as is the first time, with these lessons that I could actually hear the modes.

    Thanks.
