ANTONIO VIVALDI (1678-1741)

Concerto for violin, strings, and basso continuo in G minor RV 333

2. Andante cantabile

3. Allegro

Performed by I Barocchisti
Directed by Diego Fasolis
Featuring Duilio M. Galfetti, violin

*Note the double-stopping of the soloist in one of the ripienos of the third movement. This is one of the few pieces of Vivaldi's where the solo violin plays alternatively to the ripieno.

  • love the sequence at 6:04. I think he has these high thirds in the violins that give it this good texture.
